LADIES EXERCISE

This is low impact aerobic exercise for senior ladies to help maintain flexibility and bone and muscle mass. Done to music, each individual can exercise at their own intensity level even sitting down in a chair if necessary.

Tai Chi is an excellent form of exercise with many health benefits, using a system of slow, smooth body movements to relax and strengthen both body and mind.

  • 2:00 - participate at your ability level to improve strength, flexibility, balance & mental health.
  • 3:00 - small groups to discuss health concerns, caregiving, grief  or just chat about life over a cup of coffee & a treat .

TESS Buddies are available for anyone that may need a little extra help.

YOGA

Yoga postures to strengthen your mind, body and soul. Yoga not only feels great but provides improved balance, flexibility, concentration and focus.

Yoga class will be designed for seniors with options to do some poses with a chair. Participants will need their own yoga mat, a block, a strap, and a blanket. Cost is $8 per class.

Zumba Gold is a dance/exercise class that is low impact, easy-to-follow and designed for 55+ adults. This fun workout (set to Latin music & oldies) focuses on cardio, muscular, flexibility and balance moves. Please wear clothes you can move in (stretchy or loose) and athletic-type shoes. $5/class or $20/punch card good for 5 classes.
